Wyoming Fly Fishing in the Encampment River
The Encampment River was first made famous by Ray Bergman in his 1920’s book “TROUT”. Fly fisherman still come to fish his “pipeline pool” but now they also come to fish Norm Crisp’s “horsehair pool”. The Encampment, a blue ribbon fisheries, is a classic western free-stone stream.
