Seminar: Fluid Mechanics for Fly Fishing
We all have done it. You are driving down
the highway on a nice spring day. Down goes the window and
you "fly" our hand in the wind. Or, you move it
around behind the mirror and feel the differences in the breeze.
That is the essence of fluid mechanics! STREAM SIDE ADVENTURES
will use their experience in fisheries biology and water resources
engineering to explains, in everyday terms, how the flow characteristics
of a stream determine were the fish will be. The presentation
provides an understanding of where and why to make casts to
the areas most likely to hold fish.
